Default Transmission Oil Level Check

Hello,
What sould level be? When I start engine and after some time my dip stick shows oil level on a green mark. After running it for about 30min, it shows level on red mark, and then drive around 15miles, it still on a red mark. When after ride I stop engine and check level it shows oil level on a blue mark. As I correct understand on cold engine it should show on a green mark (as it is now), and after a ride it should be around blue mark. Do I need to add oil to increase level after a ride? But if I add oil, then on cold it will show more than it shows now.
Gearbox 545RFE, RAM 2500, 5.7Hemi engine

Yes, engine is running. There is no difference, if I check in N or in P. It stays on same level. I tryed now to recheck on cold what will show, it shows on green mark level

I think so long as you are above the "Add" mark, you are good to go.

But if I add oil to be on blue mark when hot and on cold engine it will show above green mark, there wount be any damage? Or is it a bad idea? I usually use this truck for tow a trailer, which weight is around 8000lbs

The fluid expands some when it gets hot, and having too much is just as bad as not enough. If it is over-full, the fluid gets air whipped into it by moving parts, and it can't really do it's job properly any more. My take on it is, if it reads 'good' when the trans is cold, you are golden.

Thanks for your help!
And maybe you know, why when in Tow/haul mode, from 1900rpm to 2100rpm and speed around 80kmh, there is a sound like bead bearing only when holding throttle, above or under those rpm there is no that sound. And it happens only in Tow/Haul mode, on Overdrive off and in regular mode, there is no that sound

Might just be gear whine.... But, I think tow/haul, and O/D off are pretty much the same thing, aren't they???
