Default 06’ Ram 1500 SLT 4.7 crank no start

Recently purchased 06 Ram 1500 SLT 4.7 QC, test drove, had no issues, drove for many hours yesterday. Came home parked for the night. The very next day, it cranked ran for all of a half a mile and then lost engine power. Tried to crank and wouldnt start. Ran odbii meter and spat out P0344, so I inspected wires and alls good there so I replaced the CPS and still will not crank. Ran the odbii again and came back p0340 this time without the p0344 code coming up. Have checked the wiring but have found nothing wrong at the connections or frays in the wire. At a loss for what to do. Battery is good so i dont know wht else it could be

What brand sensor did you install? These trucks really don't like aftermarket sensors in critical locations....

Yeah.... That's gonna be a problem. Use a mopar website to look up the part number, search on that, and you can find real mopar parts for cheaper than dealer pricing.....

Default Update

Checked the fuel pressure…absolute bubkis. Not even a dribble. The fuel pump is coming on but not making it to the motor.

Jump the relay, if you can.... see if the pump will build pressure.

I think on yours, the relay is integrated into the TIPM......

yes, there's no real access or external control to the fuel pump on 06, outside of the hi jacking the connector at the pump

Might try cycling the key a couple times, and see if the gauge notices....
