I just did my u bolts on my 04 2wd ram 1500 cause one slipped over and they wer pretty rusty but now it feels like my rear end is doing its own thing skipping over bumps i got new shocks put on a few months ago and iv noticed people wont drive behind me had family follow me but they dont see anything shes driving really wierd iv checked it out several times now and my passenger tire has lost tread on the outer tire any help would be appreciated
Some pictures maybe yall see something or tell me what exactly to photo Passenger Driver Driver side from bumper Passenger side Passenger rear Passenger Passenger Driver
graph
Dang that thing is clean underneath, looks like new
Off hand i dont see anything, did the springs separate from the axle all while doing the swap, Id wonder if your pins didnt get lined up ad your dog tracking a little bit, but by the pictures i dont see any indications of that being the issue
Thanks iv rebuilt the whole truck pretty much except transmission, driveshaft, power steering pump, and rear differential do you think maybe the axle shifted i did do the u bolts on a hill but i made sure every tire was was blocked off gonna lift it up and take wheels off matbe brake is seized but i think i would know that im missing something small cause she drives terrible right now
Looking at the tire wear, I would think the axle was cocked a bit.... If all you had loose was the u-bolts, I might be tempted to crack 'em loose, and make sure the axle is properly on the locating pins.
