Buying a Titan is exactly why our jobs and money are going overseas. People are always complaining on how the economy sucks. Go ahead and buy it and then you better learn Chinese and like rice.

i agree, i do however, think that American trucks will always reign supreme. The real proof is in the design and strength of the product, Dodges are the sh*t because you cant kill them, Nissan has yeat to prove themselves.

I totaly agree. The American pickup truck is the last vehical the USA does without equal. It is woven in to our culture. A real pick-up guy would'nt be caught dead in a Jap truck. Alot of the younger kids go right to the imports because they are the easiest to advertise to. Kids want image and not substance. As long as it looks good thats enough. They say "well now some Japanese cars are built in America". Who cares??, its a public relations ploy to sell more cars. Where do you think the profits are going to from these cars? Most of these kids were not around to see what a P.O.S the Japanees imports were in the 80's and have been sold a bill of goods that a Asian imports are a high quality car and are so much beter than a American car?? Funny to see the Japanese are buying up our American culture and icons at a premium price so what does that tell you? One of todays icons like the Harley Davidson motorcycles are sold at outrageous prices in Japan and they cant keep them in stock. What does that tell you about our cultures desirability?? Not to bash the imports but, the pick-up was here before the SUV's and and import craze, and with its no-nonsense owners, it will be here after the trends have come and gone. The import full size trucks are a watered down version of a truck. Look what happened to the SUV's. SUV's have been watered down so much most will never go off-road and are nothing more than a stationwagon. Thats not going to happen to the pick-up if I have anything to say about it.

Mystro, i couldnt agree with you more, American trucks are real trucks, designed and built by real people who use trucks for a living and actually work. I fail to see how some 5'4 Japanese scientist could ever gain a sense of what a true work vehicle is, when he has no need for it. Japanese people complain way too much about gas mileage and "economy", thats crap, they mock American culture and also the British (me) too. I was at the motor show and we were looking at the Hemis and some dumbass Japanese dude...he couldnt have been in the US for more than a month and he walks up to the truck, examines the fact sheet, and then sees Hemi written on the engine cover only to say "Ohhh, this is Hemi, this is Amedican truck that get terrible gas mileage and is unleliable." He was making fun of it, and just when i thought that everyone around him was about to kill him (oh man, everyone was looking at him and most of them were looking in anger and distaste) a spokesperson for Dodge walked over, pulled him aside and and calmly said "Sir, what you fail to realize is that this 'Amedican truck' is the most powerful, strongest, and roomiest work truck out there. I havent seen something from Japan like that. and you seem a little far away from home, so could you go and find out where your truck is?" Everyone at the Dodge stand started clapping and then, the next thing i new, that same person got sent home because that asian person complained. It was still one of the best things that I have ever seen, he was one of those people who wasnt afraid to speak his mind and defend himself, that Japanese moron came into his domain and started talking sh*t so he wasnt afraid to shut him up. I say AMEN, I will never forget that and it just shows how dedicated these Mopar fans are to their trucks. I stand right by him, screw Japanese trucks and strongly opinionated Japanese people. The Hemi rocks. Mopar or No Car forver.

Hell, I am only 16 and I bought a 2004 ram 1500 HEMI. I worked my *** off during the hot summers since I was only 9 years of age with my grandad. I spent nearly every bit of money I had saved on it. My grandad helped me out some because he saw just how much I worked for it. I always wanted American, I would never be caught dead in a Jap vehicle. Now all the kids that mommy and daddy buy their cars for them, they get imports because they see only image, not power and durability as I do. I can take my superchip programmer and switch it to 93 octane and burn their asses all day.

I'd always wanted a Dodge Ram ever since i was about 8 years old. I couldn't believe that i finally got one...WITH A HEMI!!! I dont care about my gas mileage, i'll pay it. I love my truck and its awesome so I'll drive it until it dies which means it'll be around for a VERY long time. Haha, MOPAR OR NO CAR!!!

These are the coments that really makes me believe American automotive prowess is back on track, like the 1950's &1960's.Its about passion and showing the industry what we want by voting with our wallet.
