Hemi owners
I would not trade mine for anything . . . well except an 06 Mega Cab CTD. But besides that, I'm happy. I had one of the new F150's, nice inside, but heavy, slow, and built cheap. I test drove a Titan, just to see what all the fuss is about. Its quick, but besides that kinda cheap, and unreliable. I have never been a big Chevy fan, so I can't comment on the Silverados. The Tundras didn't have enough power. So I went with Dodge.
I got it brand new a year and a half ago, have 28,000 miles on it, and no problems. Just been to the dealer for oil changes. Although, I am gonna need new brake pads soon. Thats pretty good. Like I said, I bought an 04 F150, put 9,000 miles on it, and ended up returning it under the Lemon Law. So, this truck has been a nice surprise.
This was my first Dodge, and I love the size, the four doors (its larger than extended cab versions offered by other manufacturers, but not so large you lose a ton of bed space), the power, the sound, and overall feel of the truck. They are definitely solid vehicles. I would recommend buying one, as I'm sure most would on this forum.

I am very happy with my Hemi. I am coming from always being a chevy guy (partially still am). Before I had driven a 03 chevy silverado Z71 5.7. It was strong but not nearly as strong and fast as my 04 Hemi. I do not think that I will buy another make when it come to owning a truck, and maybe a car (if it has a Hemi).
I absolutely love my truck, the only thing I would get rid of it for is a Cummins 3500. I traveled across the country from San Diego to Rhode Island, 3200 miles in all. There is plenty of power, even at 75 mph, I never worried about running out of breath when I hit the throttle to pass someone, or climb a hill. Right now I really couldn't ask for another truck, it does everything I need it too.
I have owned Chevy's, Ford's and now my 05 hemi quad cab. I love having the extra power that the hemi offers on demand. I try and stay out of the gas but, it gets tempting sometimes. I test drove the 05 chevy and it had no power in comparison. I test drove both the 17" and the 20" tire versions of the Ram and ended up with the twenties. The nostalgia of the Hemi is what originally had me hooked. Driving it is great. I dont have enough miles on it to give you reliability. My reliability is based on what I have read here.
Thanks to all to the feedback on the hemis, Sounds like its time to test drive one.
Thanks again.
