I have an 02 4x4 QC 1500,
the lighter in the dash has no power, checked the fuse, and it's Ok, even replaced the fuse. Still no pwer.
Any Suggestions?

P.S. The same thing going on in Wife's car. 02 Intrepid ES. No lighter power (FUse OK)

 

Do you think its just lighter itself...go to Target/Walmart or whatever and get a $3 lighter and see if that helps. Weird problem?

 

yea...i had the same problem..after toking a few cartons of marlboro menthols...but i do not smoke in my truck anymore...either get the unit replaced...or better yet, don't smoke

 

Thought about that, but it's not the lighter. Cell phone does not work in it either, I've even stuck a test light in there and no power.

 

My 02 Wasn't working either. for some reason it was just disconnected removed the drivers side cover under the steering column and reached in and connected it. fixed and only works with the Ign key on or acc.
