Personally, i would never buy a 4x2 truck......but like everyone has said it all depends on where you live and what you use it for. Where i am from (Northern ND) a 4x2 would be absolutely worthless......but i guess you could always add weight to the back of your truck to give yourself a little more traction, but you'd be far better off with a 4x4...however if your getting a deal from a family member then it would be hard to pass that up, enjoy the truck when u get it.

My wife wanted black, and after 4 new vehicles, I finally shut her up by buying a black truck. She hated the way it was dirty leaving the car wash. We now have the inferno red. The two colors that don't show dirt are the light almond and the silver. As for 4x4, I can't imagine anyone owning a truck or SUV that is not, but apparently there are people who want them.
