I have always liked the names and decals Dodge have used for their trucks. The names are alway aggressive and fit the personality of the ordering package. In general, its a marketing idea but it works. Jeep had the "Orvis" years back and it fitted the color of the vehical.

My '03 is a Big Horn, but it didn't come equipped with Sirius (did they have Sirius three years ago?)

It did come with the Sport monocolored grill and front/rear bumper, 20" aluminum wheels, sliding rear window, leather wheel with integrated tuning and volume controls, etc. It's correct that the term "Big Horn" is just a reference to the Ram's horns and that the whole thing is essentially aesthetic add-ons.

By the way, the California Hemi editions always had all-leather interiors, AFAIK. They also had some body panel treatments and a painted matching hard tonneau cover.

got my 2005 qc in november. Its black with the sports and big horn package. 20" rims and color'd bumpers. I have no badge on the doors though indicating big horn edition. also something that i think wasn't mention was big horn comes equipped with the 3.92 gears; which i don't know what this means.

Wonder why some of us get the badge and some do not?

I have an 04 QC hemi big horn edition (though no decals) and I was to understand it had to do with exterior appearence (decal, moldings and grill) also it has a higher gear ratio of 3.92 and last but not least it also has some interior upgrades (center seat divider and storage and cup storage). Hope this helps, I founds this out when I came across my dealer sticker.
