Well weve got an 03' Hemi QC 4x4 with the 3.92's. Stock. Well this guy I know has an 06' Chebby 2500hd with the 8.1, and flowmasters and a hypertech on it (4.10's). Who do you think would win in a quarter mile race? Hes always talking about how he kills every truck on the road and it's annoying heh. He plans to run his truck at the track next weekend or so.

 

That 8.1 is a strong motor. With that hypertec he might just put you in your place....its a tough call

Hate to say it but Chevy. He's got alot of torque and HP backing that bow tie.

 

Heh, less hp, but alot more torque. If it was a highway race, I think it might have a chance.

 

15 Less HP.......That hypertech and Flowmasters probably more than make up for that 15 hp difference....not to mention his 75 More Ft-lbs STOCK Torque he has on you.....But there is only one way to find out.......

 

I can agree with that. I formerly owned a 02 Z71 and if chevy is still putting a govenor at 95mph like they had on my truck, you should be able to smoke him on a LONG stretch of road. At least a half mile. But I still think that in the .25 mile race, the chevy's got it.

 

Heh, Flowmasters dont do much, if anything, and programmer does a little.

 

i do think that the Chevy would win....unfortuantely but the old saying is true. There is no replacement for displacement. with that 4.10 rearend, he would have u on the highway too. The only way you would be able to keep up with him is if u took him from 60mph with the O/D off. This would create only one downshift and not two so u would have more time on the gas. Still, i think he'd get you. Sorry dude, the Hemi needs a boost to compete, maybe next time.
