Default 4.7L Stalled this morning need help

My 4.7 stalled this morning when i was pulling out of the driveway it is an automatic. Do any of you guys know what it is ? Please let me know what part it is or what the dealers have said to yall. It was just started i backed up and when I got to the hill to pull out it just killed on me. It is an 05 with 8500miles and I bought it 6 months ago so Im pretty pissed off

The first thing to do is run it back to the dealer so they can look at it and a problem has been generated with your truck. Seems that a number of folks out there have been having stalling problems. Do a search and I'm sure you get many hits. If something like a recall or TSB comes out, you have already registered the complaint with DM. I've never had mine stall other than letting the clutch out too fast, but thats my story.

Good Luck, I'm sure you'll a few replies

My 4.7 stalled or ran on 4 cyl often... I ran the gamut of DIY attempted "fixes"... Tried 89, tried injector cleaner, checked my voltage, check the a/c clutch, you name it. Finally I got wise and ran to the dealer... Fortunately I was under warranty, they replaced the fuel pump, ecm, plugs, and coils... Ran fine afterwards.
Unfortunately it threw a cv joint a month later, followed shortly by the sway-bar linkages.... Traded it last Friday on an 06 with a Hemi and laughed all the way home.

man that sucks....Thought they worked the bugs out of the 4.7 already. My '02 did the same thing..it turned out to be a bad fuel pumpand something about the fly by wire TPS sensor was faulty but that fixed it up right...hope its something simple..but i would let the dealer fix it its under warranty.

The dealership said it might be a camshaft sensor.

mine use to do it. what the dealer said about plugs and cleaning the throttle body IMO was corrrect. i put new NGK's in it, cleaned the throttle body and jiggled the wires on the TPS. disconected the battery for a little bit and it was all good from there. good luck
