Perhaps I would consider keeping IF!!!!! they would REPLACE all the damaged stuff, not push out the dents and fill it, and a full paint job. If not, you might consider finding a very good attorney now, and stop dickering with them. They have an obligation to return the truck to you in the same condition that they received it in. Let them know up front YOU are not willing to mess around with their offers. Yes, they will be PISSED off at you, but so what, their mistake, their problem----fix it right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you trade it in, you are not only playing into their hand, you are even going to give them more money.
If after its fixed, then you want to trade it in, yup---go for it.

I would have asked for 20K or 3K above trade in, especially since they trashed YOUR truck. And buy a new one at cost. If not, you'll get hosed on the resale because it has been "wrecked."

I don't know what state your in, or what there laws are...but I seriously doubt turning a corner too tight is going to cause enough damage to trip the damage disclosure law.

Just read the rest of the thread. Sounds like they are doing what they should and I would definitely go for the new truck. Hope everything works out for you.

that sounds like a good deal but also try and get them to throw in free oil changes for....maybe 15,000 miles? I think that would be perfect for your situation. If they wont do that then try and work out a deal on free tires or something, they f*cked up and you should milk it dude. Pour salt on their wounds.
