I basically have three options and I am wanting to know what you would do in my situation. Keep in mind 2 and 3 are new.

1. Spray in bed-liner
2. New speakers and cd player for truck
3. Ruger super redhawk 44 mag (for hunting deer and hog)

 

Personally Id go for the 44 mag, Deer season is coming up shortly and it'll take a little while to get it sighted in. Otherwise Id go for the CD player and speakers and make your ride a little bit more comfortable but thats just me though.

 

Well, it really depends on a few things......

1.) Do you have a bed liner now? Is your bed used alot?
2.) Do you currently have a rifle/shotgun for hunting?
3.) Does your current system work alright?

Honestly, the sound system sounds more like the last option in this regard......if you currently have a hunting rifle.....I'd go with the bed liner so you can protect your truck and also utilize it with all the hunting/hauling you may do..... If you currently have a plastic bed liner.....I'd go with getting a new rifle....

Personally, the sound system isnt even a want unless the entire system you got is trashed...and you can buy some new door speakers/cd player for cheap....and still possibly get the rifle.

 

I say get the rifle.

 

Thanks guys. No I do not have a bed liner, and the one i have is quite scuffed. I have many rifles, more than I really need. But that is a pistol and one place that I hunt is thick swamp land. The reason for it was walking through there (especially hog hunting and tracking) without worrying about dropping my gun or knocking the sighting off my scope by hitting a tree or something.

 

Well, even though I'm a hunter, I would go with the bed liner as my first choice then the gun, and finally the system. I'm not picky as far as the radio goes. As long as it works, that is all I ask. Since you have a lot of guns but no bed liner, I would get the liner. However I understand your need for the pistol, but I would still vote for the liner. Thats my .02

 

Go with the gun its more practical in the situation your in at the moment.

 

I'll be the one guy to say go with an upgraded radio. You'll get more hours of enjoyment and use out of it than any of the others. I upgraded my system and was surprised at the difference. Rams are fun to drive as it but a good sound system makes it better.

 

That may be true in some cases but I plan to trade my 03 in..in about 2 years. Thats the use i would get out of the radio. I know that a bedliner helps trade in but a radio really doesnt. Am i right??

 

I'd say that if you're holding #3 in your hand then #1 and #2 will be pretty easy to get! [:-]
