So what do I need to tell the dealer to get the absolute rock bottom price? What questions do I need to be asking them, not them asking me?
I don't want all the bells/whistles just a truck with the CTD, towing mirrors etc.
Bottom line is the botton line. How much is my drive out price after all the B.S. jargon?

I found an average price from Edmunds.com. They list supposed prices which people are paying for trucks in your area. Along with the sticker and supposed dealer price.
My plan was to throw out a really low price based on Edmunds and feel out a few dealers as to what they could do, I knew they wouldn't come to my price. But they all talked to me so I knew I wasn't so low that I was wasting there time.
After talking to a lot of dealers I then decided on a price I wanted to pay which was well below all published prices and sticker. I stuck to this price and got it. $24K for a Hemi QC Black Sport SLT with all the foolish options 20's, best stereo, towing, rear stupid floor thing... Sticker was $39K I think.
The biggest mistake you can make is to talk payments and such. If you are worried about payments you shouldn't be buying a truck. Stick to talking the actual price before trade in and down payments....
I heard Consumer Reports has a service that you pay $10 for a dealer cost of a truck. You need to know all of the options though.
I had a lot of fun buying my truck. My girlfriend is about to buy a new car, I can't wait to help her out.
One observation I made from other customers in the dealerships is that being prepaired, curteous, serious and respectful to the salesman goes a long way.
