Underdrive pulley

Default Underdrive pulley

OK guys i need some help here, i installed the motoblue pulley and now when i turn on the blower and turn the wheel it makes a god awful sound. (belt noise) that is the only time it makes a noise. what shoud i do???

im not familiar with that pulley but we do have belt tensioners on our rams that should keep the belt tight enough to not strain the bearings...

I can assume you put on the shorter belt....right? If your having that problem with a new pulley and new belt (of the correct length) then that worries me, because I got my pulley a couple of weeks ago and have not had the chance to install it yet.

It is the Motoblue pulley, and yes i did install the correct belt with it. It runs fine but when i turn on the air or the blower and i turn the wheel its loud as hell!!!!

I was just looking at my pulley, (See my other post) and saw that the pulley I got is for a 6 groove belt. Is yours also a 6 groove pulley? This could be an issue, since the stock pullies on the Hemi are 7 groove. The one less groove could very well not be enough surface area for the torque on the pullies. Just my $.02

mine is 6 groove belt. it should not matter, alot of people on here have them. so i dont know!!
