Trading the Hemi for a 350z???
Ok, what do you guys think. After thinking long and hard about trading in my 03 Quad Cab Hemi, I think I'm gonna go with a 350z. The one I'm looking at is an 03 w/22k miles, dark gray TOURING model with leather, the works. I would have the same exact monthly payment as my truck after I trade it in so it's basically a straight trade. I love my truck, especially after lifting it and putting all that money into it, but I think its time to move on. What do you guys think? Take a look at my album, you'll get an idea of what my truck looks like and I'll post a pic of the 350z. Also, anyone interested in buying my truck, its fully loaded, lifted, etc w/23k miles, I'll sell it for just over what he'd give me on the trade. Let me know. I wanted the opinion of fellow Ram owners on this one, thanks guys

what im confused about is you trading in a '03 for an '03. Also if your post is correct both vehicles have close to the same mileage on them.
Always trade up my friend. If you were shooting for a new car I would say go for it. But why do you want to stay in the same bracket year and mileage wise?

I sure hope you have another truck that can take the place of that sweet truck you have. 350z's are nice but going from a big truck to such a small car would drive me crazy. Also just by looking at your truck you have to use it more than just a daily driver and if you do use it for more than that then can the Z do all the same things as the truck? plus if you were to sell the truck and not trade it in with all the things you have on it you can get well over what the blue book says. Bad trade in my opinion

thats the issue i'm facing. i do use my truck as a daily driver, i lifted it strictly for looks, its never been offroad. i'm trying to see the trade-off. better performance, less maintenance, WAY better gas mileage, and so on with the car...but I do love my truck. Nothing beats the roar of the engine in my truck, i don't know which vehicle is more practical right now for me. i'm a 23 year old college student and i work full time. i appreciate more feedback, so far i'm leaning towards keeping the truck. thanks guys.

I was some-what in the same situation. I was going to trade my 04 QC Hemi for an 06 Magnum R/T. I wanted better mileage and a faster vehicle (I missed my Camaro). After thinking about it, I decided to keep my truck because it only has 24K on it and it still has a lot of driving left in it. I might trade down the line, but for now I decided to enjoy Ram. Do what ever will make you happy.

Well I can see your point in a way about it being your daily driver but still. I mean there is something about driving up high like that that most people like over the sitting on the floor feeling you get when you go from a big truck to such a small car. Plus think down the road in like 2-3 years when your out of college whats gonna be more practical for you then. When you move out of where your at now how will you move everything? Do you ever plan on owning a trailer or going up camping or fishing or hunting? do you plan on ever having more than 2 people in your vehicle? You gotta think about all the little things on this one not just performance/speed/mileage think of practicality/use and where you'll be in a few years from now. Either way its your choice just pick the one that your gonna enjoy the most and really think about it. make a pros and cons list for each if you have to just dont rush out and get it cause if its the wrong choice you'll kick yourself afterwards.............
