I have a 2005 1500 quad cab 4x4 4.7
after its warmed up, If I'm stopped in gear, the idle will drop to 500rpm or just a hair under. The truck slightly
shakes at this low rpm. No check engine light. I brought it to the dealer, and all they said is that it
had no stored error codes. Any one else? Is this actually normal?

My hemi does that sometimes. Sitting at a light in gear it will drop as low as 500. Its not dangerous or anything. Really sounds good in the hemi too haha. Get that musclecar barely idling sound to it (piston fireing like every other second hahaha)

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY 03 1500, IT ONLY GOT WORST, STARTING TO STALL WHEN COMING TO STOP OR TURN.
DEALER WAS NO HELP AT ALL. REMOVE THE AIR INTAKE PLASTIC COVERS TO EXPOSE THE THROTTLE BODY AND CHECK THE VACUUM LINES FOR LEAKS. NEXT GO TO THE THROTTLE BODY AND REMOVE THE CONNECTOR AND SCREWS ON THE AIR MOTOR PULL AIR MOTOR OUT, ITS THE ONE NEAR THE BOTTOM OF THE THROTTLE BODY, IT MAY BE TIGHT CAREFULL NOT TO DAMAGE THE ORING AND CLEAN THE PLUNGER WITH CARB CLEANER SPRAY MOVING IT WITH YOUR FINGER, PRESS IT DOWN AND RELEASE MAKING SURE IT SNAPS CLOSE, MAKING SURE IT MOVES FREELY. REINSTALL AIR MOTOR, COAT O RING WITH VASELINE FOR EASIER INSTALLATION, TIGHTEN SCREWS, CONNECT THE CONNECTOR AND START IT UP......
AFTER I DID THIS THE PROBLEM WAS GONE !!!
