Default Power Wire Highway Update

I took a trip this weekend from Upstate NY to NJ for the weekend. The last time I went to NJ I think I got about 20.2 on the flats at 70 MPH. I went thru a long construction zone and at 60 MPH the trip meter was showing 22.8 MPG. I hit the reset and slowly but surely it crept back up to 22.8. On the hills I averaged between 19.8 and 21.

Guess I'm not understanding. Going 60 compared to 70 will show quite a difference in mileage.

Not really. At 75/80 you will a decent difference.

I know that in my truck when I cruise at 60-65 I get alot better MPG's than when I do 75-80. I would also like to see the pencil and paper work for that MPG.

I didn't do the pen/paper thing. At $3.13 a gallon I'm not filling her up. But maybe next time I will.

I think what were trying to get at is how much difference did the new wire actually make? There is constant debate on what this or that modification may or may not do, sometimes you have two people with the same mod. yet one notices a difference and another doesn't. I hope you did notice a difference.

I'm more from the school of thought that you need to dig a lot deeper into an engine to get significant gains. I'm not quite buying into the HP claims of K&N's, CAI etc.....I do believe an exhaust will/can make a difference.
