Cant spin tires, even by power braking...
Is this normal? I know because of the Limited-Slip it wont spin just stomping on it but I tried to power brake it with some buddies in the truck and nothing! ??????
I don't think that's normal. I don't have the LSD, but on dry pavement if I stomp on it I can chirp the tire, and powerbraking is easy. Not sure about you though.

I don't think there is anything wrong with your truck. Mine won't do it either and I saw in another similar thread, most won't. When I try to power brake the torque management really kicks in and limits the rpms. In most instances, it will chirp them pretty good from a rolling start though.
On dry ground a heavy 4X4 QC cannot spin the tires without some serious power adders, even in 2WD mode.
Especially when you have some buds in it too, just makes it heavier.
A power brake to around 2000rpm's should do it, but don't. Its really hard on the brakes/drivetrain.

well i have an 05 RC 2 wheel drive...but...i would think with a hemi (i assume you have a hemi, even a 4.7 should be able to) BUT i also had a similar problem, after the truck has some miles on it and the tires wear a little you should be able to spin them really well, seems weird but on my truck it spins them hardcore now especially when it's over 95 outside, i think it's the heat from the road...if your 06 is like my 05 just let it break in and wait for the tires to wear slightly...you should be able to (i had a 93 gmc sierras with max 240 hp and i could spin them, but our trucks have the tm too.) good luck!
You guys with RC, 2WD trucks make me laugh when you try to compare your light weight trucks against our big school buses.
I am always willing to let you up against our 2WD, RC Camaro.
But, why do you even post on these threads? To make you feel better, that's why. Go post on a mustang site and tell them how fast you are and how you can really, really spin the tires, LOL!
Real people are smart enough to know the difference.
