Regular or Quad Cab?

A couple of things the quad cab guys may not know.

The regular cabs have longer doors than quads by several inches. (one draw back) Also the “B†pillar is longer (similar) to a mega a cab. This equates to about a foot or more of storage that is not readily seen. I would guess that our cabs run back to about where the front of the rear seat start in a quad.
Its a LOT Of space behind the seats in a RC truck. You can pile the **** high. I wish my GMC would have that kind of space. I'd probably get a RC Dodge as a personal work truck...

For offroad purposes nothing looks cooler than a reg cab short bed lifted like 4 inches with 35's and a nice roll bar in the bed.

You see a lot more posts from quad owners since Dodge sells more quads by a factor of five. My regular cab serves my needs, is much easier to park, cost less and in my opinion, looks better. If I had to use it as a second car or transportation for a work crew, the extra seat would be more practical.

My truck rides good, but the extra twenty inches of wheel base on the quad produces a ride that compares with my continental, save for the tar strips.

I have owned two trucks before this one I just bought. They were both Mopars and they were both reg cab, short boxes. I am really enjoying my 03 regcab short box. It gives me a more personal feelingand I can utilize the space I have in the cab. A decently tuned sound system has more clarity in a regcab anyway.
