Did I ever say that all Toyota's are perfect. Or that all dodge's are POS. NO! In fact I clearly stated that we actually owned a dodge dakota that we put 130k uneventful miles on. Ialso stated that a 3.7l dakota will not beat a V6 tacoma, contrary to what one of your members claimed and that Toyota, Lexus, Acura, and Honda tops above other automotive manufactures as far as quality. Both of which are FACTS, no BS. Does that mean that all other automotive manufactures are crap. No, I am sure that most Dodge owners have had very little problems with their vehicles. I am not here to bash Dodge owners. I just came here to set things straight. Toyota's makes a quality, dependable trucks that are just as capable as other larger full sizes, and aren't slow, weak, peices of crap, as some of your dodge owners seem to think.

this thread has turned into too much bashing by both sides i think. there are too many trolls coming on here and starting this thread back up after its been dead for at least a few weeks. this is a dodge forum, other brands are gonna get bashed, whether they deserve to or not. i bet if i posted something about the 2009 ram on toyotas website that i would hear all kinds of statements bashing dodge. why do toyota people feel the need to come on here and defend their trucks? its turned into an incredibly silly discussion, and the same points are just being rehashed over and over again. yet, you and other faithful toyota fanboys still took the time out of your busy day to read the whole 9 pages of this topic, create an account and formulate an argument about why toyotas are better. give me a break. ive read forums dedicated to other manufacturer and have seen ignorant statements made aboutothertrucks on there, but i didnt take the time to create an account and take up bandwidth just to post a whopping 3 times. why? maybe because i actually have a life? who knows...

I vote for this thread to be locked.

Congrats, you have life. Your my hero. Unfortunately engineering school takes up all my time with exception of the five minutes that I take out of my day to come on here and bash Dodge. If this topic is so old, then why do you feel so compelled to come on here and throw in your two cents.

i have a 2002 dodge dakota regcab with over 100.000 miles trouble free love it!!toyotas imported parts cost less due to the weak yen!!(thanks to the japanese government) AMERICAN companies are faced with a huge disavantage (health care cost currency values cost of living ect)that other countries arent faced with. i really like how you toyota guys talk trash about the domestics and how their quality is so bad because its made in the USA but on the other hand you dont care to BRAG!!!about your toyotas being assembled here in the (how do you all say it??here in the good old USofA)

When you really think about it most auto companies make a pretty good product that if cared for and maintained can lost quite awhile. While certain compaines have certain advantages over others they all also have their downfalls. Personally I'm a dodge person I like the aggressive styling of teh Ram compared to other pickups out there but I do recognize that not everything that doesn't say dodge is a piece of crap. In fact Toyota does make a good truck and you dodge guys should be happy toyota is making the new tundra. if they raise the bar higher than the Hemi 1500 then dodge will come back in a year or two with something even bigger than the toyota. The competition that toyota or ford or chevy/gm or anyone provides dodge actually helps Dodge better itself and its' designs. So yea I'm glad the new toyota is comin out. quite frankly i'm impressed by it. Can't wait to see dodge's response tho

Brutally ugly truck. No need for concern.
Then simply remove it from your avatar, rather than complain.

And another newbie strikes again bringing back a dead thread.......

Welcome to forum man, but you might want to check the post dates before posting. You might just want to start a new topic.
