I read that link, I disagree with some things said on both sides. I do like toyota and they make good vehicles, I love the old straight axled 22RE picukps or the 3RZ motor that toyota made in the tacomas, I also almost bougth a new tacoma but My love for dodge is greater than that for toyota so I naturally made the decision for dodge. I think those guys have nice trucks, I personally don't care for the looks of a tundra but I like the looks of the taco. As for what they said about our trucks being assembled south of the border, They are incorrect. My truck was assembled in Fenton Missouri. They have nice rides as far as I know but if any of them want to race a hemi ram i'm up for it.

I had a '79 toyota it was a great truck but the way they talk this new tundra coming out is going to take over the world. It will be a good truck but I just dont think it will be the truck they think it will be. There has been no HP numbers released on it yet just guesses so we'll see when it gets here........

take a look at the rear diff case when you get a chance and try not to laugh. Looks like an egg canister.

The Toyota axles in their small trucks are strong too.

Quality cannot be compared between these vehicles, period. I've driven them all including the new Durango and the new Ram. Cheap, cheap, cheap is all that comes to mind. When it comes to selling your vehicle, you'll be sorry. And you'll keep seeing ads stating the best resale value comes from Toyota and it's all because of quality.

well they are going to have a 5.7 liter, toyota hasn't released a HP rating yet and I don't know the weight. Any of you guys worried about our hemis not being the fastest production non muscle truck (i.e. lightning, srt10 and SS) in 2007? I know I don't want to lose the title.

Toyota's are nice trucks no doubt about it... I don't however feel it to be comparable to the Ram. The Dodge is built VERY strong (Don't know what that Toyota guy is smoking above) and are of course much larger than the others. Unless they come out with an entirely new design, I don't see the Tundra really competing in the truck market any more than their other Tundra's did. From that picture, they havent done enough change to make it look remotely attractive. Only time will tell how well the new Tundra does, let the best truck win.

RE: 2007 tundra.....hemi guys worried????
some guy said he beat all the hemi pickups he raced well......
If any of you tundra guys are reading this and live in Las Vegas, this is an open invitation for any of you to race me. There's the call out, lets see if any of them register and take me up on my offer.
I will not talk any crap on the toyota or their owners as i do like toyotas, but they are giving their pickup a bad name with their immaturity (some of you dodge owners are doing the same for us though) The Titan dug the same hole for me too. I actually liked those trucks until I started reading some threads on titantalk.com and now wheneverI see one of those pickups I can't stand them.
