Default Lamp Out.....!!!!!!!

Just yesterday my "LAMP OUT" light came on. It made a loud and annoying sound every 2 mins or so.

On the handbook it says a faulty bulbs???? Not really sure what they mean by that, but I had checked all my outside bulbs and everything seems to be okay...

Anybody have this issue before? and what was the problem..

Thanks

Check to see if the bulbs are working with flashers if you have not done so already.

every light bulb works. Signal, Head light, High beam, fog lights, brake lights, reverse lights.

Anybody has any idea on what else could be the problem?

hold your trip/odometer button in and turn the key to the "on" position then let go. See what that says.

EDIT: Forgot to add the signal works with a voltage change not and actual voltage loss. You could have a bulb going out and it's already hitting on it. Look for an increased or decreased brightness in your bulbs.

Mine did that for a little while BEFORE the bulb went out. Maybe it knows which one is about to go.

The rear light cluster bulb contacts on these Dodges, after a few years, oxidise.
Take out all your rear lamp bulbs, clean with WD40 or some other electrical contact cleaner, the contacts/bulbs and re-fit the bulbs.
Also, the running and tailight/signal bulbs, when they're fitted, put a dab of high temp silicone on the base of the fitting and the glass bulb, overlapping the two.
This, when set, will stop the bulbs vibrating loose in their bases giving an intermittent contact, causing a bulb out warning.
That cured my 03 problem.
Post up if this helps?
