Someone care to document these claims with some Dodge TSB's or repair manual info?
I could find no instance of electronic throttle body damage with a quick Google search.

There was a post a while back where a few guys tried to push their Hemi Throttle Bodies open and cause all kind of throttle response problems. I'm just going from what they've said. But it is also easier to remove the throttle body and clean it vs. fighting with either a spring type and whatever holds the motor type shut.
