I totally agree with yousame results here.
I hooked my DRBIII to see what all was turned off and these are the results
OBDII GLOBALDISABLE
cat monitor
evap monitor
thermostat stuck open or closed
purge monitor
misfire monitor
fuel too lean
fuel too rich
basicly all the emmisions stuff, thats all i have for now but i will see what else is going on.

I guess if I make this mod on my 2003 5.7 ,the codes will show up on my ecu if scanned . Any one know? I need to get my truck inspected this month and DMV out here in N.Y. will fail the inspection if any codes do show up. Can I just reverse the mod and erase the codes with my superchip pack?

It will DEFINETLY NOT fry you're pcm. I do not know the wiring diagram for the 05 but if you can find the wire I'm talking about, all it really does is disable the monitor not the system. For EXAMPLE, if i were to remove the cat the pcm would not go into limp mode or show the check engine light, but the O2 sensors are still giving feedback for the proper a/f mixture. Like I said the systems are still WORKING but the pcm MONITORING THAT SYSTEM is DISABLED.

Motorhead, I hooked 12V up to the purple wire, and I have a 2005, and I had success. Carries more power through the shifts is the best way I can explain the difference. Not huge, but as heavy as these trucks are any power carried through the shift is a big help. Seems to not bog as much when I first nail it too. I sure wish someone could come up with a way to completely eliminate the TQ management section of the PCM!!

ive been runing this mod since sunday and put around 500-600 miles on my 03 and havent thrown a code yet....i kow its not far but its been enough for the pcm to "learn" everything again since i reseet it.
there have been rumors that this will store "deep" codes (what ever the hell that is) in your pcm but no one can seem to prove it does. i dont know why you couldnt undo the wire and reset the pcm with out worries. eds2003ram make sure to follow the pics and how to i posted so that you can reverse it..... Highly recomend you DO NOT cut the wire.
lets us know how it goes for you!
HEMI TOUGH thats strange your shifts arent firmer. i can chirp the tires everytime if i wish from the 1-2 shift....do you have a programmer?
