I was driving on rt 78 in Pa, when I cam up on Ford F-150 in the left lane. I was doing about 80mph.I went to far right lane to pass him and another car in the middle lane. Then i looked in my mirrior andI saw him coming. When he got next to me, I floored it and once I hit about 95...nothing.....he passed me and i was got catching up. I am guessing my govener kicked in.....I am so in need of a programmer......dont laugh to hard at me...i will get him next time....

 

95 in a Power Wagon doesn't seem like the smartest thing to do

 

33" BFG A/T's have that effect... and his truck weighs much less than yours, probably with similar horsepower, oh well.

 

I haven't seen very many powerwagons that were that fast to begin with.

 

im sorry but did you think you were gonna win...big heavy truck made to go in the mud isnt gonna be exactly fast. try racing through a pipeline...then see who wins.

 

my 95 Mirage with a 4cly will outrun my hemi on the highway just becouse of the rev limiter.car will get well over 110 mph so the hemi just can't get that fast without a superchips programer.
but from takeoff hemi will eat it up.

 

HAHA! YOU LOST! nah, just kidding. lol. i lose to a lot of fords, then again, i have a v6 and most of them are v8s. but i dont complain, i play it off like i wasnt trying to race him. its fine man. and yeah, power wagons arent supposed to be going 95 and really arent the racing type.

 

Fords need all the mod's out thier to even run with a stock 5.7 hemi, and your in a Power Wagon, your not built for speed.
when I was driving and owning F-150's ( 5.4 ) I allways thought I had to prove I was quicker, in the end I just Pissed more money out the tail pipe, the ford guy's are really intimadated by the 5.7.

I own a 06 2500 SlT reg cab with A 6sp 5.7 And my truck is scary fast from 65 mph to top end. At the end of the day trucks are not race cars ( SRT10 Lightning ex.)

 

...I spankem all the time...but i don't have big wheels/tires either... and I don't do Lightnings...lol

 

I also have beaten every ford that I have raced. My cousin's Titan is the only truck to give me a run for my money (but I still beat him).
