I guess I can, was just worried that it would cause a rough ride with the stock ones. I know the original poster used Pro Comp ES3000's, but i cant seem to find the right part number that will fit.

ProComp ES3000s are about the same as the Rancho 5000s. Just get on the site and decide what length you want and pick out the part number

Looks like they are all about the same length. Are the ES9000 Gas stabilized shocks any better?

thanks for all of your help!

I see you did this to an 03 ram. Will this same kit work for a 06 2wd 1500?

The ES9000 are the RS5000 ranchos I believe

And the 03 kit will not fit a 06, coils are different. Not much, but a guy bought a kit for an 02-05 and it didnt fit his 07

Look at my posts. If I were you, I would buy some $270 spindles (ebay has the airbagit ones from PricebusterChris)

They dont change the ride at all like spacers would (my 07 has your same suspension and rides horrible with the spacers) plus you dont have to buy $120+ worth of shocks and they arent as bad on the suspension components. Best way to lift a 2wd IMO
