IPOD in 2006 Ram
I got an Ipod for Christmas and was wondering what solutions are available to connect it to my truck? I have the 6 disc/Navigation/Satelite unit...
Thanks for your help.

Don't you have an AUXillary in port on the front of the deck?
If so, you just need a male to male stereo cord and push the AUX bottom. Turn up your iPod to full volume, then adjust it on your deck.
My factory deck does this, works great.

What Big AJ said, just plug it in to the front of your stock stereo, just plug in the I-pod and push aux until you hear the I-pod playing. I have an06 with the basic stereo (single disc and no nav) and I have an aux place to plug in an i-pod so you should have it with the ****-em-dank-emstereo!!!
I need a special plug so I can adapt my male/male audio plug to fit my Motoral cell phone.
The phone uses a 4 line conduit (?) in stead of 3 since the headphones it comes with has a built in mic. Also, it's a mini jack.
I found an adapter online, but it didn't work!!
Anyone else hook up there phone to play music?? Give me the 411 on what you used...
Also, the stupid phone won't play songs one after another, you have to select each one!? Piece of crap.

I have an 06 with the auxillary input thingy on my deck and I went to best buy and bought a cord for $10 that plugs into that and the headphone hole on my ipod and i just do that and it sounds great.
I believe the Rec Nav unit and the RAQ? (6 disc/mp3) Do not include the aux input as others may have hinted. I do know that there an "I-pod kit" that is meant for the rams, but it seems like nothing more than an expensive fm modulator. In some vehicles I have read that they have made a multiplexer that displays song titles, allows controls via the radio/steering wheel, ect... Unfortuanetly I do not believe these are for the Rams, please correct me if I am wrong.
Good luck,
Ryan

I also have an '06 with Nav/6 disc changer. There is no place to plug in an ipod. It looks like Pacific Accessory Corp
http://www.pac-audio.com/ may be working on an adapter. They were advertising on their web site a couple of weeks ago that they were looking for a 2006 Ram w/Nav in their area to use in making an adapter. You may want to contact them.

Unfortunatly I have the basic and it does have Aux Input, so that doesn't help you. Sorry! But for BigAJ is looking for. I have a sony erricson that I play songs off of. It came with an adapter so you could either use the headphones that came with it or your own. The same thing with my wife Slvr w/ ITunes. Her's came with an adapter to plug headphone in. Any adapter that allows a standard headphone jack to be pluged in should work.
