I brought it to them last wednesday, and got it back today (monday). They didnt even get it into the garage until friday, and then ordered the part over the weekendand finished it today. So it was sitting in the parking lot for a good while. I got th pictures of the damage and im gunna go with my pops tomorrow and were not leavin' till they agree to fix it.

 

And the funny part is the woman who was in charge of the service on my truck came out and went and looked atthe damage. looked at the cracked step bar plastic pieces and said look theres rust there, that means this is old damage. when i got home i used my digital camera and got a good macro picture of it and zoomed in way close. It was dirt, and all i can see is dirt and bare metal. no rust. Then they had the nerve to tell me its all botched up and they wouldn't be able to tell if its new damage or not even though the truck barely has anything nearly as bad as that. And to top it off they said my truck is running rough. WTF is that? thing runs like its mint, left some rubber all over town just to prove it to em hahaha.

 

Rip their nuts off!!

 

Dude, I feel for you..... The best advice i can give you is this. Don't get mad, get even.
1- Get a good camera and take a whole lot of really good photo's.
2- If possible, see if you have any photo's of your truck before the incident.
3- Present the facts to the manager or his/her higher ups.
4-MAKE SURE YOU CONTACT YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY, AND MAKE SURE AN ADJUSTER COMES OUT, TO ALSO TAKE PHOTO'S.
5- Contact your attorney.

its a deductible just like an insurance claim, get over it. look at it this wayl would you rather pay 2 grand for a new trany for example or just pay the 100 dollar deductible????

 

Make sure you go into the showroom and ask to talk to the service manager there, that way while you are rasing a stink customers looking to buy cars hears it.

 

and if they refuse to make it right, be sure to go into the showroom and introduce yourself to every prospective customer in there and tell them just how ****ty this dealership is.

alrite no need to get nasty, you'd be upset to if this stuff happened to your pride and joy. I was under the assumption extended warranty means fix **** that breaks for free. thought that was why i paid the extra 1500 sumodd bucks for it. But it is nice seein' I only had to pay 100$ out of the possible like 500 or so the guy said it would cost. Ahg I always hear about peoples cars getting messed up at the dealership and i always hope it never happens to me. Its a damn shame. Well we'll see what light comes out of tomorrow. My uncle has a body shop and said if i need it he can fax over a write up no problem, then I just gotta talk to my insurer whos a family friend of ours. Hopefully it will go over well. I'll have more news for you guys tomorrow!
