F**K DEALERSHIPS!!!
wow, I bring my truck in this morning so they can compound the damage (which still isn't fixing it), and me and three other cars they do a walk around with a checklist. I was like why didn't they do this with me to begin with! The woman who was helping said oh they did it but we lost the sheet. Ugh its just so goddang retarted! Watch I'll get my keys back and ill have like 17" wheels on my truck and a 3.7 under the hood.
Sucks for you! Lol. They better at least throw ina hat for all your trouble
. I have never had any problems with my dealer. I have recommened them to many people. I have a really close friend that in the used car manager so he hooks me up. They treat everyone nice. It is pretty funny when someone arrives on the lot, they all jump in these golf carts tyring to be the first one to them. They yell "customer on deck" or somehting like that, and they all go a runnin. I am there a lot because i get my oil changed every 3500 miles with the package i paid for, and with me that isaround twice a month. I rack up the miles on my truck. When i got it in mid october it had 30 miles, and as of today it has over 15000.

OK, got the truck back today and they did a nice job detailing it and such. they wheeled out most of the damage but the nasty dent on the bottom of the door remains and the f**k up in frunna the rear wheel is still there. And I found yet more damage too, looks like the scrape went alllll the way down the truck, i got scratches on the side of my headlight. Whoever did that should be hanged for not knowing how to drive....or for just plain out being an A$$hole. Oyyea, and with my aftermarket key fob not working anymore...they couldn't do crap with it so now I gotta pay $50 and the sound place to have it reprogrammed. once again...bastards.
I work for a dealership. And one thing I can tell you is screaming and yelling won't get you anywhere. People are much more willing to help someone who is calm. And if you ever bring up lawsuit you can forget about it.
The sign saying they can not be held responsible is the oldest trick in the book. That is only to deter people from pressing the fact.
That is the same as if you own land and have it "Posted No Trespassing" that you are not liable if someone gets hurt on your land.
The truth is. EVERYONE is liable for anything that happens on their land. It is your responsibility to keep your property safe and anything that is on it that you allow to be left there. They have insurance to cover this but they will not file a claim unless forced and this is the same reason people keep insurance on land.
If a kid was so jump you fence and drown in your pool it is your fault because you did not prevent them from getting in there. Ask any insurance company and they will tell you the same.
They will pay to fix your truck if you do the right stuff and that will require you getting a Lawyer. You will need to file a case and have your Lawyer send the land/dealership owner papers and then they will file a claim.
I would also file a claim for reimbursement for legal fees.
The reason they are liable is. You did not sign a waver of liability in front of a notary public. So it is not a legal binding document.
MOPARMAN57L is correct don't bring it up, just sue them. You will win and if you get a good Lawyer they will get you repaid for your lost time "Punitive Damages".
That’s my opinion. You may want to have a sit down with the dealer owner also. The owner will know what liability they have. They will act sooner then a manager.

first off dealing with the dealer to fix all the damage was a mistake. go to the dept of motor veichle and file a complaint with them first. they will send over an dmv inspector to asses the damage done and file paper work against the dealership. these people work for you, thats why we pay taxes. the bbb wont do crap.my sister had a complaint about a local hole in the walldealership and went to the dmv, come to find out there licensce was suspended and the dmv closed up shop. being calm also is a good thing to do. people who scream and yell just get pushed farther back on the list.

Last time the dealership pissed me off, I costTHEM in excess of $120K.
Ever see a raging lunatic find every single customer that is looking at a new truck or a showroom vehicle and scare them off of the property.
Yeah, they may call the cops, but all the cops are gonna do is make you leave the property. As long as when the cops show up you are calm with them and explain what's going on. They know what ****heads dealerships are.
Get beligerent with the cop and it's a different story.
