F**K DEALERSHIPS!!!
You know pal, you're 100% percent right.....You bought the vehicle, with your hard earned money. Then in addition to that, you purchased the extended warranty. So in my mind, you shouldn't have to pay anything, if the vehicle goes bad during the warranty period. But, they want you to pay a $100.00 deductable, so you pay it, and they still want to give you a difficult time.
What gives? I don't know if you guys read the papers, but it appears that every time i pick up a paper, some American car company is having a difficult time keeping customers, so they end up laying off thousands of employees.
I think you now know the reason why..
My wife refuses to buy any American made vehicles, because of these kinds of problems. I on the other hand, try to keep the jobs here, but with these kinds of problems I'm hearing about, I don't know how long i will remain faithful, and continue to buy American made vehicles.

konichiwa my american brother. My wife also refuses to buy american (me too, but only cars, not trucks) She has a Toyo, I have the Ram. Anyway, I had my truck in for oil change. When I got it back, first thing I noticed was the big dent and scratch on the driver's door. I called the service manager and he got the paint guy try to buffer. He couldnt so they painted my whole door, including some of my window. I didnt notice the window after 3 days when sun hit a certain way. I figured, I better not take it in again, who knows what might happen. But complaint and if they dont do anything, go in the showroom and cause a ruckus until the call the cops on you.

its a deductible just like an insurance claim, get over it. look at it this wayl would you rather pay 2 grand for a new trany for example or just pay the 100 dollar deductible????

Looks like somebody backed into it. I am beyond furious. and of course the dealership doesnt want to take responsibility. Im going back tomorrow to talk to the manager.

If you continue to meet resistance from them, the BBB will be happy to go to bat for you. They do wonders.

If I were you I'd drive the damn thing through their front window if they didn't fix it.
Hear is a more serious suggestion, I have a couple Harleys and whenever I drop them off anywhere for any kind of service, I make a service manager come out and go over the bike with me and show them that they are getting a my bike in pristine condition and that I expect it back in the same condition or better.
I have even used a digital camera and taken pictures while they watched me do it so that when I come back to pick it up we both go over it again and make sure there isn't even a finger print on the chrome. The way I see it is for the money that these trucks and especially Harleys cost I expect quality service or I'll find someone who can give it.
Hey here's another one, if the Service Manager doesn't make it right stop by there sometime while he is out to lunch and take a dump in his desk drawer. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

haha, I think its protocol for them to inspect the vehicle beforehand, I was dumb enough not to ask them to do it. Blah, at least I know for next time, was a stupid move on my behalf.
If you are in Phoenix area I will go the the ealership and have some fun with you. I have been a collector for five years and am pretty good about getting under peoples skin when needed.

When I had my Chevy, I banned 3 of the 4 dealerships "in my area" for lack of customer service. I was driving 30 miles to the one dealership that still had an ounce of customer service left (and then only when I had no other choice). I haven't had to deal with any service issues with my new Dodge, but I'm confident that the dealer will be filled with blithering asswipes when my time comes. That's just the way they are.Anyway, my best advice to you is to be persistent. Bug the **** out of 'em. Call them every day, twice or 3 times a day until you get what you're looking for. Show up and ask for meetings. If this goes on for too long, make a sign and picket outside of their dealership. In short be creative and don't stop until you are satisfied that they have resolved the problem. GOOD LUCK!
