Hello,i want to know if i can install a borla exhaust system on a Dodge Ram 1500 2002,4.7 litres.I want to install the one like the Ram Daytona 5.7 litres with single inlet and dual outlet on my 4.7 litres.Is it possible and what about performance and sound.Thanks.

 

I have a Borla cat back duel exhaust. I got it from Summit racing. Sounds great under acceleration then when you hit cruising speed it sounds the almost same as stock. As for performance the Borla with the K&N I have a noticable gain in power, and better highway gasmileage. Went from about 16.5 miles/gal to 19!

Do you know if i need an adaptor or a reducer to install the cat back system like yours?thank you.

 

All I had to do was remove the old muffler and tailpipe and bolt on the Borla system. It came with everything needed to install it.

 

Thanks,what is your K&N,is it a P FLOW or a cold air intake?I have one MAC p -flow and a jetpower chip on the truck,the sound is change but do you think it will be louder with the borla system?

 

My K&N is cold air intake. I put the Borla on firstand it much louder than stock, about a month later I put on the K&N and it got even better! So yes, if your changing out a stock muffler it will be louder.
