Check engine light on my 02' 5.9liter
Well I changed the oil on my truck. I pour in 5 qts or Mobile1 synt. oil, and took the truck around the block and the check engine light came on?
I was wandering whether changing theoil on the truck played a factor in causing the truck to have a check engine light. The truck never had any problems before. Has right around 88K miles, SLT 4x4 with a 5.9 liter.
What do you guys think?
Thanks

Running synthetics in your engine is fine. Many of the people on this forum, and others, run synthetic without issues. If the odometer doesn't kick out the codes, an ODB II scanner will. You can get this done at any Autozone for nothing. Get the codes and there is a very good chance someone on the forum here will be able to help you figure out what is causing the problem.

great... I just pulled the code using that method above and I got a code P0132: O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 1)..
Now where exactly is this 02 sensor in this Bank 1 Sensor 1? It's so confusing...the chart shows WAY too many 02 sensor.
anybody had this switch out?
Thanks
