Hemi on propane!!!

Hemi on propane!!!
My Power Wagon is in the shop getting a converson to run propane or on gasoline. This system has worked great on our other trucks but have not done it to a Dodge yet. If anybody is interested (reply) I will let you know how it turns out. The system is sequentially injected into the intake. I should note that the engine starts on gasoline. When coolant temp and O2 sensors are warm it automatically switches to propane. On a Chevy with the same system you get about 3,000 miles on a tank of gasoline, so it is not running on gasoline for a very long time. Thanks

Wow, that's awesome. Other than mileageand cost per tankI think some other things people would like to know are;
Where are the tanks?
What kind of tanks and where do you go to get them filled (I figure it's not going to be your usual visit to the local outdoor grill supplier.)
Do you swap out your gas tank for something smaller?
Do you qualify as an LEV (tax break?)
What does it cost to install this system?
Does your truck now smell like a forklift?
Pretty cool man. Let us know. Thankx.
Also, I think I saw on Extreme 4X4 they are building a buggy that runs on propane. NA carbed with an air hat that supplies the gas.

Please keep up informed on how the conversion goes.
Seems like this forum has members in England and Holland who are running older Ram pickups converted to LPG.

The Tax on Petrol over here in the UK is HORRENDOUS [:@]and at $7.50 a gallon it's the only way to drive these beautiful machines.

I know there used to be a couple places around here....used to just fill up your grill tanks...kinda like air tires or something. You just pulled up and they filled you up...I think UHaul was one of them.
So the main things for me would be..
Cost up front for conversion?
Cost to fill up propane and gas tank (roughly, i know it will vary)?
Last, How many miles do you get from a full tank of propane and/or gas tank?
Tryin to break it down to how much it costs Per mile...since it costs us about $2.50 per 15 miles...just wondering if its worth it.
