Default Under hood Light

Well i don't have one! if that's even possible. How freakin cheap is that?

Anyways, i'm looking to add some LED's under there since i have things left from when i did my HID retrofit. Was wondering where the plug is?
I do see a plug on the very front of the firewall and it looks like it's capped off. It's to the far left just above the intake box on the conduit tubing.

If I have no hood light, do I still have an actuator switch? I assume if there is a plug then i do have one, but I''m not even sure that plug if for that? Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like the lights i have seen used are mercury tilt switches built into the housings. Still would like help locating the plug if possible. I want everything orderly.

Here's the assembly
Here's the harness needed
But they show no picture so it's not possible to see how long the harness is or what the connector looks like.

couldnt you just put a pressure switch under the hood or a mercury switch like you suggested?
I know, I know, you want a "factory" setup...

It doesn't have to be factory, just clean. i would like to tap into a harness if possible. it would make life so much easier.

The underhood light was part of the $1100 convenience option package that included the infinity system, lighted cup holders/ashtray and many other little goodies.
