More than happy, I've got a bit of a heavy foot. Responsiveness of motor with mods went up quite a bit too.

I don't own a Ram but I thought you might be interested in what mpg's I've been getting. I keep very close tabs on my igures each week.

Mods Up-sized tires - LT275/65R20 Toyo AT; strong tailwind
This was a daytrip up and around Sedona. This means from a 1250 elevation start, climbing over 5000 ft with a couple of long steep winding sections. A lot of the miles are I-17 with cruise set @75. The tailwind was so strong up Bloody Basin that I actually saw MDS kick in @75 on a 3-5% upslope !! Around Sedona include 5-6 miles of high-clearance 1st gear - no 4wd needed - and a great number of photo stop&go. Wind was still there as a good headwind coming back - little MDS even coming downhill.
Seeing combined 18mpg, even with the 4x4 and 3.92 and taller aggressive LT tires, is making me quite happy coming from a 03 Dakota 4x4 4.7L w/3.21 that got 15-17mpg for the same route.

I took a 400 mile trip to Columbus, Ohio yesterday to see Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood. I reset the computer when I left the house. Speeds were 55, 65, and 70 depending on interstate or two-lane highway. My 07 Laramie did better on mileage. We took it to Gatlinburg, TN within a month of getting it and got 18+ mpg on it with probably only 500 miles on it and it was a 5.7, 3.92.

Hard for me to judge city. What I call city is 45mph slowing down for bends and constantly going up and down hills and of course actual city miles. I got my numbers by averaging numbers for the past 3 fill ups. Any time I am going to Pittsburgh I fill up and reset mileage. It is all highway, 60-75 mph and my computer usually calculates 18-21 miles per gal.

I'm now getting 18-20 MPG on average - mostly highway driving and some boat towing. Truck now has 2500 miles on it and it seems that the fuel saver kicks in more often. Can't tell if that is because the truck is breaking in, or if I'm subconciously adjusting my driving to stay in the "sweet spot".
I'll be curious to see what the milage will be for my trip down to Missouri in a couple weeks - hauling 5 people, their gear and a 3500lb boat.
