Notes.................................. This was only my second tank of fuel and the first one that I put in myself. I drove it like it tells you to in the manual to break in the engine. In other words, I was going full throttle from time to time while around town. I saw anything from 12.1 to 14.5 on the computer while driving. The 13.4 was what it read when I was filling up.

Hello all, I just discovered this forum and Im glad I did, lots of good info here. I just bought my 09 Quad SLT last week and am still in the honeymoon phase....havent had a new vehicle in 16 years...

This mileage was shocking to me, I didnt think Id see it this high, however, there is probably a good reason. This represents a trip from LA to Palm Springs and was during my break-in period. I made the trip driving mostly 60 mph, occasionally stabbing it with full throttle accelerations. Traffic was light. I got 22.2 mpg avg on the computer outbound, and around 20-21 coming back with the air conditioner on.

Im happy to say the least.

I punched it a couple times in town but mainly a soft pedal. MPG was figured via my last tank full. Ran it almost empty. I use the same gas station and allowed it to auto shutoff (gas pump handle) to be as consistent as possible. Real happy with this baby!
