Im buying the ebay ones based on the price. Comparing the 2 side by side through pictures they look identical and chances are they're produced in the same Chinese factory.

 

I prefer the chrome housing ones offered by sabersport (ebay). Seem a Little more conservative looking + my truck is silver with chrome grill and bumpers. Just don't know if the output is good enough to justify the $$$

 

Lights came in today..BUT I have to return them, They only work on the dual headlights not the quads.....

I don't feel like cutting up a 550.00 light kit so once I get my refund I am going to order the ebay lights since I am only using the housing(have HID's)

 

So those new Recon and Ebay headlights are only for the two lamp system? It says they use an H1 for low and a 9005 for high, so I was assuming they were for the quad headlights. Or am I mistaken?

so they were for the single bulb rams only but converted the bulbs to seperate high and low ones?

thats dumb... well not if you have the single bulb i guess

 

Can someone post up pictures of the housings with dual lamps and singles? I'm confused about that crap at the moment.

 

Ok....so after I played around with it I found out Recon did not ship me the H1 High beam bulbs which is why they didn't work.

I was able to get the 9005 bulb to slide in the slot but it has a little play so this is a temporary solution until I get H1 bulbs for my high beams.

I get off work when its dark so I'll have to wait till Sunday to hook up the angel eyes,and led's...Plus I have HID bulbs coming Monday.

 

Got mine off ebay for $249
