And he is right, find another dealer, I feel your pain with problems you guys are having but you need to find another dealer and use a different tactic, sucks you guys are having to deal with a..holes at your dealers, but they are in every other make offered. I too use ARRigo Dodge they are not perfect but they do take care of their customers especially when you take care of your part in the complaint.
I agree, he deserves his props for his accomplishments...but Steve's anger had nothing to do with the kids stamp. He called him a weenie among other things, lol... but it's over with, it's all a big misunderstanding, why flame it? It's obvious that there's a big difference in the meaning or value of money between the two...which ever comes first. And I'm sure both Jae R. and Steve have already forgiven each other. Besides, it's not like he's going to give you his ZO6 Vette for siding with him...he's going to give it to me, lol!

OHHHHHHHHHHH 1954Radio, you bazzderd you, i wanted the vette...!!!!!!
You`ve already had a ton of sweet cars you ole`coot (hehehehe)

As for the peeling, blistering chrome, find another dealer, because Dodge MoCo WILL replace them free of charge...!
Alot depends on the dealership. They dont make as much $$$ doing warranty claims, thats why you`re having a hard time getting it fixed.

No flames, or sides taken, just my Opinion, could care less for the vette, have an 84 mint porsche 911 carrera in the grage. But you have to give the kid props for what he's done if done the way he said it.

I was just kidding about the vette, besides he sold it so he says, lol! I too give him props for his knowledge and he seems to be a brite kid...sure. But 200k in toys doesn't justify calling a someone a weenie over how he feels about his truck warranty and telling him to give his ole lady the keys. Steve was just taking up for his wife's character and his Ram issues... it had nothing to do with this kids toys or his builds, that's all I'm saying. All good now, it was all a misunderstanding and it's water under the bridge (that is until the kid reads this, lol). It just goes to show the difference between some people when it comes to the value of money. Some can afford not to worry and some can't and need to get everything out of what little they have. I know you didn't mean any harm and I'm not one to talk about flaming anyway. You're a better man than me, you're out there saving lives for a living. Which BTW...I hope you're not biased, I may need you one day, lol! Now...can I have your Porsche...I like those too, lol!

I'd rather see pics of some time slips and build sheets from the SickHemi toys, I'm sure Steve wouldn't mind...we need them both, lol!

I just don't see why you would have to "justify" my original post. It was stated in the plural form. Not to mention a joke.

If you say you meant it like that then I believe you...it makes sense. Had you posted it as a new reply to the thread instead of quoting Steve, than maybe people would have seen that it was meant to be plural and maybe some did. So I do believe you meant no harm, but I don't think Steve was wrong, nor do I think his anger came from your surprising knowledge or pics as I was telling rolltidehemi. It's hard to not take things out of context so it helps to add some smileys laughing when you're joking or trying to have fun instead of someone smashing a hammer, lol! I'm not trying to make you feel bad because you certainly do not deserve it...it's no big thing. And I apologise to you because you seem to feel bad about it and you shouldn't. You cleaned it up, that's a good sign young Skywalker...you're a good man! Now that I have your attention, I can't believe you put all that money into that motor and put it together yourself (figure of speech)! There's too many critical clearances to deal with using the naked eye and hand tools. I use to do the same thing (build my own) in my junk yard build days when I couldn't afford to...but you seem to be able too. I heard of some peeps in forums that use shaved (knife edged) cranks but mostly in four bangers and turbo rice burners (no offense) because they need all the help they can get and some are 700hp. I used gun drilled cranks for the same purpose and of course aluminum rods and windage trays (I know, shaved is lighter). Do you use a gauge to measure the correct top dead center and a degree wheel to time your cams or are you doing it by eye. And how do you measure your bearing clearances and what about your ring gaps or are they gapless, how do you file them or do you and can you? What about your valve to piston clearances, how do you check that? You had someone do your heads for you...good deal, I would not do my own motor nowadays...to much hp tech to miss out on, lol! Do you keep a blueprint sheet of your builds...do you record your clearances and measurements? And last..who taught you and what did your vette run...any time slips? Post some vids man...they're pretty quick, tkx! edit: Sry for the highjacking Steve

No you can't have my **** foot locker and no I am not biased, and yes I know how you feel about how some spend their money but again thats there perogative which is all good, wish I had the means myself my kids are sucking me dry right now, but hey its all about raising them right, and I personally think we are all a bunch of weenies, I know I've been called on more than once, hell I've been carrying one since I was born which certifies that I am! With that all good in all, has anyone having the replacement problems gone other routes to get their issues taken care of, would like to know in case future issues arise, but again my dealer has been pretty good, good luck to you all, on to another thread.

Sorry for the hijack steve

First, I don't feel bad in the slightest. The guy called me out and I just happened to have the pics in a photobucket account. As I'm part of other public forums. Don't apologize. I was simply asking why people feel the need to justify such a "minoot" joke. Then Steve just went "e-thug" on me.

Second, I used dirt and a chisel to measure clearances! Real "cave manish"! ROFL WTF

.....

Plastic gauged the main bearing, the cam gears came marked with timing marks, and the knife edging was a little to much in my opinon. The car rev'ed great but had "puss puss" torque. Really it doesn't matter because Hondas are never fast. I did 11.2 @ 126.5 on street tires at the old Moroso. 08 Z06 with the TR6060 transmission. Buying the Z06 was a mistake though. WAY TO MUCH MONEY! They are selling in auction right now for around $44K.
