Mopar Slush mats vs. Weathertech?
Anyone have the Mopar Slush mats? Are they good enough?
I am leaning towards the Mopar mats, I can order them in the matching dark slate color, they have RAM or Dodge on them ,and are slightly cheaper.
Reviews are good for Weathertech.
Checked some out at Cabela's...they seemed pretty thin for $200+ , and color is only in Black, Grey or Tan

I have them. I think they are excellent. I've always liked the style of the factory ones better than the Weathertech ones. I've had Mopar slush mats for two Grand Cherokees and the RAM now and they've all held up perfectly. In fact, I have the set for the 2005 Grand Cherokee still sitting in the garage waiting for a new home.
Get the mat for the rear seat area too. It also fits well and looks great.

I had the same debate as you did. Each of them had their pros and cons, but I ended up getting the Mopars. A guy was selling them in the classifieds and I got a really good deal on them. They were basically brand new so it was a no brainer. One thing that kind of turned me off to the Weathertechs was the feedback I read from some people who said they would curl up around the edges after a while. I don't know if those were isolated cases, but it was enough to turn me to the Mopar mats.

I've had both. My Mopar wore out on the drivers side in less than two years. They are good but water runs over the edges and they don't protect as much area I bought the Weathertech now and I like them better. I wish they had the dark slate instead of the black, but they do look ok. Too early to tell on the wear factor yet.
