Default Nitto Trail Grappler or Goodyear Duratrac

Im looking at getting some new tires for my 09' Ram 1500 and would like to put 35" tires on my stock 20" rims. Im not too familiar with the tire size comparisons but I have 275/60 R20's on my tuck now. The guy at the Goodyear dealorship said that I could go up to a 275/65 R20 which would give me just over a 34" tire in the Duratrac's. I also like the Nitto Trail Grapplers and Im assuming that the size that would be compairable would be the 35x12.5x20. Is that correct? Or will that size cause any rubbing? I would also like to put a leveling kit on as well. Does anyone have any good or bad reviews on these tires or info on the best size to get plus what is a gllod leveling kit to get that rides well? If anyone has any pics of their similar setups would be great. Thanks

I considered the Terra Grapplers but the guys at Discount recommended the Hankook ATM R10's in 275/60R20. Said they'll last much longer than the Nitto's.

Given my choices I'd go with Nitto. However, Nitto's wear out quick. Everyone I've seen on Jeeps or lifting pick-ups of my friends have worn out quick. As for Goodyear, they are the worst tire you can buy IMO. We have a contract with goodyear at work (state DOT) and I've had them personally. At work we've been blowing new ones out left and right. Poor workmenship from them.

What kind of tread life do you get on the Nitto Trail grapplers? Also, can I fit a 35x12.5x20 on my stock 20" rims or would the 295/65 R20s be better? the conversion chart said they equal about 34.6x11.5x20. I want the biggest tire without rubbing.

i have the nitto trail grapplers M/T

So far i like them, bit loud at first (maybe cause they're 37x12.5/20), still breaking them in. They have gotten more quiet as i put some miles on them, so far 300miles.

I hate to tell you but they saw you comin', Whitey. The Hankooks aren't a bad tire, but I know two 2nd Gen owners right now that are having their Hankooks chunk rubber on them before 20k miles. I got a buddy who put a set on his Wrangler who got 18k out of them.

I can't speak for the Trail Grappler, but I personally know guys with 60k on their Nitto Terra Grapplers...
