oil changes every few thousand miles???!!??

Took me a while to wean myself off 3k changes. Now 6k seems to short and comes up fast. 4k is a waste of oil and money in this era. My Marquis I roll to 7500. My diesel dually I roll to 12k. My Corvette I go by the Oil Life Meter. Its usually around 10k. so you see the 2009 Dodge 1500 is the shortest on oil changes these days.
