Yeah you could paint them, or plasti-dip them depending on what you're going for appearance-wise. The technique I use to debadge is the hair dryer and fishing line technique. Buy a roll of fishing line, cut off about 6-8 inches of it. Get a hair dryer and heat up the emblem you wish to remove (careful not to be too hot you don't want to damage your paint finish) and then use the fishing line in behind the emblem to saw through the adhesive in a back and forth motion. You will be amazed at how quickly they come off.

To get the remaining adhesive off I used my cordless drill and an attachment made by 3M called the Stripe Off Wheel. You can watch videos of it on youtube. Looking at it you would think it would scratch or harm the paint but it is perfectly safe on the paint and takes the adhesive off with ease. Some guys prefer using a paint stick or adhesive remover but I'm telling you from having used both methods, the Stripe Off Wheel is the way to go and then you'll have it in the future if you need to do another vehicle or a friend's or something.

Putting the emblems back on is a different story. I'd probably use some painter's masking tape to outline it so you know where the emblem is supposed to line up and then remove it. To put it back on you should just need some 3M Double Sided Tape, the foam automotive kind. Hope this helps.

On another note I just ordered some new headlights. They are the OEM set with the painted black housings. I do not recommend attempting to take your headlights apart on these Rams and painting them yourself all I managed to do was mess up my driver side headlight and now it gets condensation on the inside. I also ordered a custom Mopar steering wheel badge from www.rebadgedesign.com so I can get rid of the gaudy looking cheap chrome one that came with the truck.
