Excellent video JayMan thanks... any idea where you'll be buying from? Perhaps we could do a bit of a group buy?

well you can get them through recon for about $322 using the dodgeforum promo code. I might just go through them.

as I said, the leds shine VERY bright through the smoked housing, so they are equal to or better than the stocks. sorry I still dont have pictures, no luck with a camera. I will get a friend to film with his fancy iphone

Did some Googling... for LED Tails for 2010-2011 1500 RAM:

Found Spyders for $199 shipped.
Found RECONS for $320 a couple places.
Found these by ANZO for $325.00 - first I've seen them. Only one color I think.

Found these by IPCW for $370 -

Anyone else know of other options? Prices?

Thanks

no affense, but those tail lights are ugly. the word I would really like to use is "ricey". Truckin had a 1500 that was black and green featured in its magazine a few months back, and the guy had those first tail lights on the truck, and I just thought, wow. You spent thousands upon thousands on the truck, then put those taillights.

Yeah the anzo lights are pretty ugly, they were first out before recon had them, and i just waited because i didn't like the anzo lights, especially with that stupid circle reflector, looks like something they stole off a bicycle spoke. I know the spyders are the same as recon, the only difference is recon has a smoked film on the lens with a black housing giving it the dark look when not lit, which is awsome, as opposed to spyder has clear plastic with a black housing, looks more cheap. I have to admit they are a lil pricey but well worth it, just don't get their headlights, haven't had much luck with them so far, their fogging up on me and the projector in them isn't of best quality.

Here`s a video of my truck with recon lights, you can see how bright the led tail lights shine.

Thanks for the video, looks great. Can you tell me the manufacturer of the Headlights and bed lights?

So after a great deal of searching, I finally ordered my RECON 264169RBK LED tail lights ($307 shipped, from SFX Performance). Best price I could find. I also ordered the
Recon 264202WH LED back-up light Bulbs ($39.95 shipped) and the Recon 264112BK LED 3rd Brake light ($93.63 shipped) both of those from Amazon. Also the best price considering taxes and shipping... Grand Total = $440.58.

We'll see how long it takes to receive them and how the install goes... Thanks again to everyone for the input/feedback.
