I definitely notice too that the MPG numbers advertised here are NOT what we get. This goes for any vehicle IMO.
One imperial gallon = 1.2 US gallons. So here in the US mpg for an imperial gallon would be: 15.6 and 22.8 highway for a 5.7 4wd model. I don't see where they would come up with 30+ mpg unless it was tested coasting down a mountain with a tail wind.
I average 15 to 16 mpg. And with the mix of city and hwy I drive that comes out just about what I would expect.
I know this wasn't one of the OP's questions but what are you guys seeing gas mileage with a 5.7L Crew cab while towing. I would be towing a open trailer with a car...roughly 5000lbs
I just picked up a 2013 1500 Laramie crew cab. This thing is awesome. I traded in a 2009 1500 Laramie crew cab and the ride is definitely better. Fit and finish seems better also. Even my wife, who is not a big fan of trucks is impressed at how smooth and nice the ride is. As far as mpg, in a 140 miles of driving in city and highway I am at 16.3 mpg and that's with getting on it a few times to feel the power of the Hemi. On an open, level stretch of road, cruising at 55 mph and the real life mpg display shows 26-27 mpg, at about 1500 rpms.

I don't believe it. Calculate your mileage then report back as to what you are really getting. Just reset your trip odometer after a fillup, then on your next fillup divide the miles you drove with your odometer reading. I'll bet it's around 15.
