check out your transport rating system. i think they use a dyno at 50 or 52 mph or something stupid like that. that's where you get 25.

I may be wrong but I honestly believe my 2012 ram, 3:55's will get 24-25 mpg all day long at 55 mph, but like I say, i just can't take 55mph, especially on a trip. Heck I drive my motorhome, hauling 21 ft boat 70+ mph.

Just did a round trip 750km (450mile) and averaged 21mpg per the EVIC.

2010 Sport CC, 3.92. I am happy with that.

After hearing a Dodge Ram commercial on the radio, they were talking about the 2013 Ram 1500 with the V6 getting 25 mpg on the highway.

ya at work we had 1 and took it 45 mi at 75 mph (it was brand new) and put in 7.82. (our gas is close to $6/gallon) i thought that was good for a new truck.

50 to 55 seems to be a sweet spot for economy with these trucks. My best mileage came from 160 miles worth of 50ish speeds on flat road with no stops. Something like 22 mpg.

These Rams can be a little "differant" than my traditional way of thinking. I mean 50-55 mpg is a "sweet spot" for most any engine. However on a road trip anything under 75 is out of the question for me, I'd get run over on I-95! LOL However, many times I seem to get better mileage running with the flow at 80-85 than at 70. I've been tempted to try non-ethanol but in my town non-ethanol is $1.50 a gal more than 87. Bought 25 gals on Tues, Non-ethanol would of cost $37.00 more. I bet I'd have to get 3-4 mpg or more mpg to break even. I just doubt it would pay, maybe I'm wrong.

OUCH...!!!!!! $1.50 more per gallon...??? Holy ****...!!! Ours here in the north east is only .10 to some of the others around here might be .15 more per gallon over the regular grades. Actually i just filled up on the way home tonite from work... got 26 mpg highway out of this last tank of NON E10. My truck is smoother, spunkier, starts better... its a win win for me... but not so much for you, at THAT $1.50 price... dammmmmm...!!!!!!

Heck LU, if non-ethanol ever got to say .50 a gallon more it would be a no-brainer to me! When i move here (FL) in 86 from Maine, it was said the cost of living here was less, debatable but it was said. Today, I don't even hear it said anymore! Then why do I stay??? I LOVE that 70 is weather we have for 6-7 months a yr! Kinda like the way snow shovels here too! But make the weather the same everyplace, I'm on my way back to Maine!!
