Default 2016 Ram 1500 Hemi Exhaust recommendations

I was looking at putting new headers, high-flow cats, and Black Widow Venom Mufflers in a dual exhaust system with an X-Pipe but was having trouble on picking the exhaust pipe size. I was thinking 2.5" but was also wanting to leave room for the next set of upgrades I planned on doing to my vehicle. Any suggestions?

2.5 inch pipe will be plenty for 99% of on-road use. You would have to get really extreme before the exhaust became the problem.

Thank you!
Yeah I figured the 2.5" would be more than enough. I ordered 3" mufflers and such so I will more than likely call the muffler manufacturer and reorder for the 2.5"

Or just get some adapters for 2.5 to 3". Whichever way is easier/cheaper.

Yeah but I was going to do a full dual system headers all the way to the bumper. So far was looking at JBA LT Headers, MagnaFlow High Flow Cat #59959, a Black Widow X-Pipe 3" and two Black Widow WidowMakers 3" with Jone Exhaust Chrome Plated Tips 3" in to 3.5" out.

Could just run 3" pipe. It will give a deeper tone, though, may cost a little low end torque. (which the long tubes are going to cost you anyway.)
