Thanks for the input & support. I have no intention of letting this go -- but, I'm out of town till next week sometime. I'll do round 2 w/the dealership as soon as poss and I'll check out that website Blue.
I'll let you know how this progresses.

Well here is a little more info.

There is a gap on either side of the windshield gasket. Towards the bottom.
Its inline with the seam of the front quarter panel to the A pillar.

The tech pointed out my gaps were not even. The right/passenger side was tigheter.
He suspected that.

I took some painters tape and covered that gap in the weatherstripping...whetever you call the rubber that seals the windscreen.

Took it out ran it up to 75mph and no annoying wind noise anymore. Still wind noise but not bad.
My experience today proved the all laramies likely have some wind noise at higher speeds. The one I rode in did and the salesman driving it and he could not hear it. My side was making the wind noise. Right side again. Again I say, not nearly so bad as my truck.

Took some more painters tape and sealed that gap where the mirror folds.
Took it up to 75mph and qiter still.

Obviously this is not a fix, just a test. Sealing that gap worked on my truck....now to get it fixed correctly.

I do not get the pictures on this site anymore. Had to delete what I had here to show this.
Want a picture of the 2009 Hemi XDI intake PM me....its making huge gas milage improvements

Default No Whistle here.

Just wanted to add, maybe help identify which models or types of mirros. I have a new SLT Crew with the black non-tow mirrors. No whistle that I can hear. I did hear a whistle when one of the front windows wasn't all the way up. Whistle went away with window fully up.

I said whistle! Its not a whistle, its a roar in my truck....and I checked the windows...first.

I looked mine over last night. there is a gap in thst winscreen stripping as I pointed out.
I looked at the stripping that runs up the side.
Where the stripping rolls over the roof and continues there is another joint...right above the winscreen.

That is not a smooth ransition. That peice; both sides; sticks up in the air a little.

Drive an hour to compare again.

Those are the trailer tow mirrors, which means that in order to have them installed the dealer did the work, not the factory. The chances are that the dealer tech screwed up the install. My factory mirrors are quiet as can be.

I looked at alot of Dodge trucks, they all had the same shape mirror. Bigger trucks had a bigger mirror.
Laramies have chrome added ...and a courtesy light. Could be that light is the problem.
Hope not, thats nice. Lights up the step nicely when you open the door. Keeps the side of the truck lit for a bit after shutting the door...and its another turn signal blinker.
I checked, the light lens is tight.

Tape that next.

Probably come down to me fixing this. Or at least diagnosing it....its the weekend. I would like to take it to a dealer Monday and say its this cusing the problem.
Already know that gap in the windscreen molding/seal is a big part of the noise. Why there is a gap at all is curious...extensive design for wind and rain, so I have read
I appreciate the input.

Just want to add my 2 cents. The noise is definitely not normal. I recently took a 4 hour drive (one way), mostly freeway at speeds of 80-85 mph and did not experience any unusual sounds. It was rainy and windy that day and cab was relatively quiet.

Any chance of going to the next closest dealer? I have a few near me and each one has different level of service they provide. Also agree with comments already mentioned above that you need to escalate to a service manager or even dealership manager. Document each time you call and who you spoke to. Ask for email addresses of people that can help and pressure them from all angles until it's fixed.

Good luck.

Mine is going in Hill Kelly Pensacola Wednesday.

Chrysler agreed to pay for me a rental....like pulling teeth. Took all day, about an hour on hold and 8-10 phone calls. Computer was down, call back in an hour... all day. What a pain.

I will let you know what they find and do..if anything.

Order me some things while there...bed extender do lolly so I can carry a 8' 2 x 4 stud, first.

Cheers
Blue
