Got mine back from the dealer today.
Dealer installed new weatherstripping along the top and front of the fronts doors.
Also replaced the mirror on the right side. Its blinker light was loose?? maybe something else. It was tight to the body.
This mostly cured the wind noise problem for me Realtive2989. Sure cured the really bad wind noise.
Still some but they all have some wind noise after driving 4 Laramies. I bet the SLT's do not have wind noise or its alot less. I looked and Dodge/Chrysler actually rounded those mirrors....like my 98 was...that never had wind noise issues.
Damn good idea to make the mirrors areodynamic too.

I will find that other post.... They also put a new seat cover on the drivers seat.
Drove it 21 miles home and it is streched and wrinkled already.

This ventilated seat material needs to be recalled.

I did all I can do to instigate a recall. Contacted a few people in the industry and wote on-line to Chrysler. Chrysler is ignoring me.

Mine is silent. The only time I hear is the woosh when the cars pass me on a two way road. That should be there though, I don't think it is suppose to be perfectly silent. lol But it is silent just driving down the road. I don't think I have the issue.

Thanks for the update Blue - frustrating working with dealership on any warranty issue these days. I tried your tape experiment with success and put a little silicone uder the stripping where it comes together on both sides of the windshield. The loud whistling noise is gone. Still not quite as quiet as I think it should be but it is *******ly undetectable if the radio is on.
Lately my drivers seat has been making a crunching noise on righ hand turns. Something not torqued down there - likely I will find/fix it without the hassle of dropping it off. I don't have the perforated seat fabric and have not had the issue mentioned about those.

When I get a cross wind from the North, as I am heading East, With strong wind gusts, sometimes I get a hooting sound, but its intermitent. I have no clue where its coming from.

For once maybe it was a good idea to buy the early build vehicles. Seems mine doesn't seem to have all these issues and I am not gonna let them do an RRT for window noise if i don't have it. Like they changed my rear plastic guard on the tailgate even though i noticed it loose prior and glued rubber grommets to the plastic part coming thru the tailgate, they actually had to bust them off to get mine of. No reason other than make money of Chrysler for that one. I am afraid to have them do the rrt for the manifold bolts since i have no ticking from my exhaust. It ain't broke so I dont wanna fix it. Just how long do you have to get the RRT done. Lets say I dont have ticking for a year or 2 is the rrt still in effect?

Dude this thread is over a year old, and the last post before yours is nearly a year old. These were earlier build vehicles... Certainly before the 2010's were available. But to answer your question, I believe RRT's are like TSB's and will be available for you to have performed for free by the dealer as long as it is under warranty. Beyond that it will be at your expense.

We are lucky ones I guess. It's funny this is the only vehicle I ever bought that does not have wind noise. I had a Durango R/T 03 and it was 5 grand more sticker and that thing had all kinds of wind noise.
I am wondering if some of these people forget what they are driving. It's a pickup truck.

I have a new case open with my Dealership here about wind noise when the rear windows are down. When I reach 45 MPH the entire truck shakes like its on a washboard road. The bass from the wind is so loud I can't hear a thing. Any thoughts?

Rear window down wind buffeting? Don't know a car that has roll-down rear passenger windows that doesn't do it when the fronts are rolled up. Typical on my Toyota Camry, Toyota Tacoma, Honda Accord Honda Civic, Chevy Malibu, 09 QC Ram, and tiny Benz 190 that was a money pit. If it's got rear passenger side windows that roll down, it's what you get.

I don't have the 'entire truck shaking like it's on washboard roads' likely cuz I know better than to drive around with just the rears rolled down some, even partially (allowing enough oscillation of the window panel). I crack the fronts or roll up the rears till my ears can't feel the pulsing.

If Dodge fixes this, be sure to get your name on a patent.

Meanwhile, back to topic, I have just a little bit of wind noise at 65+, but it's so subtle, especially for a high-profile pickup.
