I have pre 09 built no buzz and I have hand controls on it so I would feel it for sure, my wife feels nothing and she drives it with her feet. My uncle bought a what would amount to a R/T now, and his is built after 09 no buzz or rattle in his either.

So by accident I was going overseas and wanted to make sure that my wife has enough of starting power for Chicago's winters, so I decided to replace battery and alternator. After replacing alternator vibrations disappeared. To be honest alternator bearing was good on the old alternator, so something else mush have been creating that vibration inside and transmitting it to the engine somehow. Or maybe internal diodes were shorted and were creating EMI at certain rpms who knows. So what I suggest try removing your accesory belt and drive for minute or two you will not drain your battery and see if vibrations disappear. At least you will be able to rule out alternator and other pulleys.
You can drive it during the day without running air, radio, lights etc. probably all day..sometime in Nascar some of the ignition system or charging systems mess up and they run half the race on just the battery.

I had a 76 Eldorado and the alt light came on one night around 7 pm and I drove till 11pm till it started to run like crap and finaly stalled. It had a 500 CID engine and I used the air and radio....didn't realize my alternator was toast. So you can go for a while, long enough to see if that is your buzz

I also have this vibration felt through my gas pedal. When i first went to the local dealer, i was told it would go away....then i had them look it over again and again and again. They recently replaced the front struts, thinking that it would rid my truck of the problem.....its still there. I've called dodge itself and told them many times of my problem.....
Still not sure what it is......

I visited this forum because my of intent to unload my Dakota and get a Ram TRX. I've seen some dealer ads that are knocking off as much as 32% from MSRP.

I'm super picky about the sort of issue reported here and I'm having second thoughts, even with the deals being offered.

What do you Ram owners recommend I do?

4000 miles on my truck and I don't even notice the pedal vibration any longer. Truck is awesome and I recommend it to anyone.

What's up guy's, just to add in I have a 2010 Ram sport crew cab with 3.55's and non adjustable pedals. My boss also has the exact same truck and my brother in law has a 2010 Ram slt quad cab with 3.55's and non adjustable pedals. They all have 20 inch wheels and we are all feeling the same vibration at around 1900 rpm to 2200 rpm. But for me I also feel it sometimes when i'm just resting my foot on the gas pedal and not actually pressing on the gas. Hopefully Dodge can come up with some kind of recall that fixes this problem, or I guess i'll just have to get used to it.

DWB,
Are all three truck 5.7 Hemi powered? IMO, it is a harmonic character of most of the hemi engines.

I have a 2009 Hemi Quad cab, late March build, no vibration in the pedal whatsoever.

The Hemi gas pedal does not have any type of cable connecting it to the engine so any vibration felt has to be coming from the floor pan.

That was my thought too. It doesn't really bother me much anymore.

All three trucks are 5.7L Hemi's, and they all have fairly low kilometers mine being the least with just over 1200 km's and my boss has around 3000 km's for the most. I guess just as long as there is nothing really wrong, I just got to try and not worry about it so much, and just enjoy the truck. But this is so far the only problem I have with it, other then the vibration it's a great truck.
