Slight vibration felt through gas pedal?
Although that may be true to some point I dont think thats the issue. I have the 4.7 and if does not run on 4 cylinders and i have had that same problem. Have also driven 2 other 4.7 loaners from the dealership that also had the exact same issue.
Good news is after about 4000 miles I stopped noticing the vibration. Either I got used to or the truck got broken in a little.

i have been noticing it also. I have concluded that it happens when the fuel saver mode engages. I assume that when the fuel saver message appears in the information screen that this means the engine is only running on 4 cylinders. As soon as i give it a little more throttle, the fuel saver message goes off and the vibration is gone.

That is one reason that I recommend folks get the lower rear end ratios. The hemi is not as happy at 1700 as it is at 1950. It has better harmonics closer to 2000 rpm and you keep out of the vibration at highway speeds.
Just bought my pre-owned 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Quad Cab 4x4 4.7L yesterday. Didn't notice this in my test drive at the dealership (figures, lol) but as soon as I was driving it home from the dealership starting noticing it. glad I found this forum to know that it isn't just my truck (whew!).
I have hade my truck 09 cc sl hemi since spt this year never did this until last couple of week , and not sur if it the same problem. I have auto start on mine, as soon as i sit i can feel vibration in seat. As driv down road never relly goes away, and yes i feel it in the pedal and stearing wheel. I noticed when sitting in truck and in park , engine idles up and down, not high but noticable. The weird thing is the vibration thing is not a constant everytime i get in the truck kind a thing, no pattern. However i do notice btween 35-45 miles a vibration just in the pedal. Plan on bringing it to dealership to see if they have any clues.
Some of you guys might want to check your tires. If you are still riding around on those piece of crap HP's, they start to scallop. This causes the vibration you are all talking about. I had the same driving on Ruffles potato chip feeling, but then I got some Michelin LTX M/S2 and no more vibrations. Just something to look at. I know Dodge re spec'd the alignment numbers due to this problem. I am keeping a close eye on my new tires to see if they start wearing improperly.
Let me throw this out there for everyone to ponder..... (re: gas pedal vibe`s)
How about the guys with 09/10 dodge/ram with lifted trucks and or bigger diameter than stock tires,
are they having gas pedal vibrations after lifting or going to bigger tires...???
did they have the gas pedal vibe`s before the lift...???
Just my opinion...
Dodge has built a truck with way too much bragging being done when these 4th gen`s came out. (they over hyped them badly)
Its a truck, its gonna have issues and noise`s that they`ll never be able to fix. The 5th gen will have issues too, so get use to it.
